Te-Waza 手技
Hand Techniques
Te-Waza are throwing techniques that primarily use the hands and arms to unbalance and project the opponent. The leg or hip is not the main fulcrum — instead, the thrower uses upper-body rotation and leverage to break posture and complete the throw. Te-Waza techniques like Seoi-Nage and Tai-Otoshi are among the most frequently scored in elite competition.
